What the cost figure means

The cost shown against a schedule is scheduled hours multiplied by the rates you entered. It is there to tell you whether next week is over budget before you publish it.

It is not a pay statement, it does not know about overtime rules, differentials, taxes or anything your payroll provider does. Treat it as a planning number.
