For billing companies, MSOs and practice consultants

Refer a practice. Earn a fee. We will never sell billing against you.

A partner earns $150 for every referred location that becomes a paying MedAligna subscriber, paid after that location's first invoice clears — or 10% of the subscription MedAligna bills that location for 12 months. The partner chooses per referral. MedAligna does not sell, and will not market or sell, medical billing, coding or revenue-cycle management services — to a referred practice, to any client of a partner, or to anyone else.

No fee tied to collections · No PHI exchanged · One-page agreement · 30days' notice either way

The offer, in full

Three things, and the third is the one billing companies ask about first.

Fee

$150 per paying location

Paid after the referred location's first invoice clears. Or, your choice per referral: 10% of the subscription we bill that location for 12 months.

Onboarding

Co-branded, with you copied in

We set the practice up on its trial with you on the thread. They see the help as coming from you; you see where they are. We do the work.

Pledge

No billing services, in writing

Not to the practice you referred, not to any client of yours, not to anyone. For the term and 2 years after.

Why a scheduling company wants billing companies as partners

Because you already have the conversation we are trying to start, and we are not in your business.

A billing company talks to the practice manager every month, usually about the one thing on her desk that is more painful than the schedule. When she asks what software to use, she asks you. MedAligna is a staff scheduler for small clinics and physician offices: license and certification expiry that blocks an assignment rather than reminding somebody about it afterwards, coverage rules against opening hours, the providers' on-call rotation with a public board, swaps with manager approval, and self-scheduling windows for staff. $99 a month per location, a fourteen-day trial with no card, and no patient data anywhere in it.

That last point is why this programme can exist without the usual friction. There is no PHI in the product, so nothing in the referral touches a chart, a claim or a collection. The fee is for an introduction to a software subscription, it is fixed or a share of our own revenue, and it is the same whether the practice bills a hundred claims a month or ten thousand. You are not asked to carry a vendor you have to defend. The practice can try the whole product for fourteen days with nobody calling them, and the price it pays is published.

How a referral works, step by step

  1. Introduce the practice in writing

An email with us copied in, or the referral form you get as a partner, before we have had any contact with them. That is the attribution, and it lasts twelve months.

  2. We set up the trial with you on the thread

Fourteen days, every feature, no card. The practice manager imports her staff and publishes a week; we answer the questions; you are copied in so the help is seen to come from you.

  3. The practice chooses a plan

Or it does not, and nothing is owed by anyone. A trial that lapses becomes read-only and the practice keeps its data either way.

  4. The first invoice clears, and you are paid

$150 for that location, or 10% of what we bill it for 12 months — whichever you chose for that referral. A practice with three locations is three referrals.

What the one-page agreement says

Eight clauses. You will have read all of them before the coffee is cold.

  • Parties. You refer prospective customers to MedAligna's staff scheduling service.
  • Fee. $150 per referred customer location that becomes a paying subscriber (first invoice settled), or 10% of subscription fees for 12 months; you elect per referral.
  • Attribution. A referred customer is one you introduced in writing before our first contact; the attribution window is 12 months.
  • No-compete pledge. MedAligna will not market or sell medical billing, coding or revenue-cycle services to a referred customer or to any client of yours, for the term plus 2 years.
  • No contingent fees. No fee under the agreement is contingent on patient volume, claims or collections; fees are fixed or subscription-based only.
  • Confidentiality. Each party keeps the other's client information confidential. No PHI is exchanged under the agreement.
  • Term. Either party may end the agreement on 30 days' notice; fees already earned survive.
  • Relationship. Independent contractors; neither may bind the other; governed by the law of MedAligna's state of formation.

Apply

Eight fields, most of them optional. A person reads it and replies from helen@medicalstaffscheduling.com with the agreement. If you would rather talk first, (407) 476-9882 is answered.

No fee is ever tied to collections. No PHI is exchanged under the agreement.

What partners ask before signing

How does the MedAligna referral program work?
You introduce a practice to us in writing — copy us on an email, or use the referral form once you are a partner — before we have had any contact with them. We set them up on their 14-day trial with you copied in. When a referred location becomes a paying subscriber and its first invoice clears, you are paid $150 for that location, or, if you chose the share, 10% of what we bill that location for 12 months. You choose per referral.
Does MedAligna sell billing services?
No, and the agreement says so: MedAligna does not sell, and will not market or sell, medical billing, coding or revenue-cycle management services — to a referred practice, to any client of a partner, or to anyone else. The pledge runs for the term of the agreement and 2 years after it. MedAligna schedules staff. It does not touch a claim, a code or a collection, and it holds no patient data to do so with.
How is a referral attributed?
By a written introduction before our first contact with the practice: an email with us in copy, or the referral form. The attribution lasts 12 months from the introduction, so a practice that signs up eight months after you mentioned us is still yours. A practice that was already in a trial with us when you introduced it is not.
Is any fee tied to the practice's collections or claim volume?
No. Fees are a fixed amount per location or a share of MedAligna's own subscription revenue, and nothing else. No fee is contingent on patient volume, claims or collections, and no PHI is exchanged under the agreement — we hold none and we do not want any.
What does co-branded onboarding mean in practice?
The practice's trial is set up with you copied in on the welcome and the setup conversation, so the help is seen to come from you, and you can see where they are. You are not asked to do the onboarding; we do that. You are asked to be the person they already trust.
What does a referred practice pay?
The published price: $99, $149 or $249 per month per location, with 20% off from three locations. There is no partner markup and no partner discount; a referred practice pays what a practice that found us on Google pays. Pricing is on the pricing page, in full.
Who is this for?
Owner-led medical billing companies, small MSOs and practice consultants who talk to practice managers every month and are asked what software to use. If you run a large RCM firm with its own vendor partnerships, the agreement will still work, but the conversation is probably different.
