Moving your schedule off another system
What the importer reads, and what it refuses.
For owners, admins and schedulers
Export a CSV and paste it
Whatever you are on now, export next month's schedule as CSV and paste it in. You get a preview of exactly what would be created before anything is written.
Most exports drop straight in. The person can be a single name column, an email, or separate first and last name columns. The day can be its own Date column, or part of a combined start cell like 2026-08-24 07:00. The shift can be a code you already use (D, N, Night) or explicit times. A column called Area is read as the unit.
It refuses rather than guesses
Every row it cannot read is listed by line and column with the offending value, and nothing is written until you have seen that list. A guessed row here would put a real nurse on a real shift she was never planned for.
Two people with the same name is the case worth knowing about: only an email can tell them apart, so a file with names alone will stop and say so rather than pick one.
Bring the people first
Import your staff before your schedule. The schedule importer matches people who already exist; it will not create them, because a typo in a name would otherwise silently become a new employee.
In the app this lives at /app/schedule/import.
