Enrolling nurses with Nursys e-Notify

Nursys e-Notify is NCSBN's free service. Enrol a nurse once and participating boards of nursing push licence status and public discipline data as they enter it — so you hear about a lapse from the board, not from a surveyor.

You need your own free e-Notify institution account. We produce the enrolment file; you upload it there.

Their licence number and issuing state (from their credential wallet), plus a home address, birth year and the last four digits of their social security number.

Four digits and a year is all e-Notify asks for, so it is all we store — there is nowhere in this product to put a whole social security number or a full date of birth. Only an owner or an admin can see or enter any of it.
