Setting up a rotating pattern

A rotation is a repeating cycle of on and off days. Start from a preset — DuPont, Panama, four-on-four-off, five-and-two — or build your own by clicking days on and off.

A cycle can alternate days and nights, which is what DuPont and Panama actually are. Both halves are carried, so the generated shifts have the right hours rather than an average.

Enrol staff with a start date each. The generator writes real shifts into the calendar, and running it again skips anything that already exists rather than doubling it — so it is safe to re-run when you add somebody.
